Three panes and two argon-filled chambers slow heat transfer dramatically, a dual Low-E coating manages solar heat in both directions, and a Super Spacer® warm-edge spacer cuts the cold bridge at the glass edge. Built with Cardinal Glass insulated units, and with no operable seal to rely on, a fixed unit's performance comes almost entirely from the glass package — which is why this triple-pane glass unit lets a fixed casement reach the upper end of what's possible for energy efficiency in an Ontario home. Double-pane is available where the exposure allows.
