FAQ

Common questions about Trust Build

Trust Build installs windows and doors for homeowners across Southern Ontario — the GTA, Durham, Halton and Hamilton, York, Simcoe, Niagara, the London area, and Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough. City-level coverage is listed on the service areas page, with dedicated pages for cities such as Toronto, Hamilton, Oakville and Barrie.
Yes. Replacement windows in existing homes are the company's core work — vinyl, aluminum and wood lines in casement, awning, slider, hung, fixed, bay and bow configurations, installed by Trust Build's own employed crews rather than subcontractors.
Retrofit installation keeps the existing frame or exterior finish where it is sound. Brick-to-brick (full-frame) replacement removes the old unit back to the rough opening, then rebuilds it with waterproofing membrane where applicable, shimming, low-expansion foam, sealing, jamb extensions, interior casing and exterior capping. A hybrid approach is used where only part of the opening needs rebuilding. The installation methods page compares all three.
Sealed units are available in double or triple glazing with Low-E coatings and argon fill, and warm-edge Super Spacer construction. Windows use Roto hardware; entry doors use Ferco multi-point locking — these are separate product lines for separate applications.
Yes. Masonry repair and brick matching around openings, basement egress window conversions, and window wells are handled in-house, and Trust Build can take on the municipal permit process where a project requires one.
The Better Business Bureau publishes Trust Build's accreditation status, A+ rating, business categories and customer reviews for the Concord, Ontario location. HomeStars hosts homeowner reviews of completed projects, including Toronto window replacements, and the Google Business Profile carries further reviews. All three are published by third parties and linked from this page.
